WHO WE ARE

MISSION

To see generations impacting generations with the Gospel by engaging in worship, building community, sharing in discipleship, and serving others.

BELIEFS

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. (2 Tim. 3:16)

We believe in a personal, eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father,
God the Son and God the Holy Spirit – each distinct, yet all of One essence. He is totally loving and completely holy. (John 3:16; John 14:26; John 16:10)

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. (Romans 3:21-24)

We believe that Jesus, being the virgin born Son of God, as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile
us to God. He lived a sinless and perfect life, died on the cross in our place, rose again victorious over the grave, is preparing a place for us, and will one day return as He promised. (Matt. 1:23; 1 Peter 2:22-24; Matt. 28:5-6; 1 Thess. 4:14-17)

We believe that the death of Jesus Christ was the final and complete sacrifice for our sins. (Hebrews 9:12; Hebrews 10:7-8)

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness we must repent of our sins, believe in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. (Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to Jesus’ gift of salvation. (John 14:6)

We believe the Church is global, functions best in localized communities, and is made up of those who have put their faith in Christ. (1 Cor. 1:2; 1 Cor. 5:4-5; Ephesians 2:19-22)

We believe we were created to live a life of worship through obedience so that we bring glory to God in every circumstance through our words and actions. (Isaiah 43:7; Rev. 4:11)

We believe that baptism is the public declaration of accepting God’s resurrection power in our lives. It is an opportunity for our church family to celebrate together while growing in community and accountability. (Matt 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-42)

We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.

We believe that any form of sexual immorality, such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexual conduct,
bestiality, incest, pornography or any attempt to change one’s sex, or disagreement with one’s biological sex, is sinful and offensive to God.

We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of the church as the local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model to the church members and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by the church in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, should abide by and agree to this Statement on Marriage and Sexuality and conduct themselves accordingly.

We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with scripture nor the doctrines of the church.

CULTURE

Worship doesn’t just happen at our Sunday services. Everything we do is a form of worship; all the ways we serve and care for our community are acts of worship.

From the street to the seat, we want everyone to feel welcomed, known, and loved by God.

Relationships & community are our number one priorities: first with God, then with each other.

We want everyone actively growing in their relationship with God and discipling the next generations.

We firmly believe that God has uniquely and individually gifted each of us to bring Him honor and glory through serving as the Body of Christ.

OUR STORY

The calling for Generation Church was placed on the hearts of our beginning founders from the Lord with a special focus on generational discipling. We began as a small group of obedient christ-followers who met weekly in the garage of one of our member’s homes. Over the first year, we watched God move mountains and grow our church family even without a building. Because of this, we realized that the church was the people, not the place. Even now, we strive to always maintain the ‘garage church’ closeness within our church body! God gifted us with that revelation early on before we were given our church home and we have built that into our GC foundation. We are so grateful, humbled and blessed by what God has done in our short 3 years as GenChurch! We remain expectant and excited for what He will do in 2026!
